  • Passages and Dialogues: A collection of passages and dialogues in Roman transliteration, complete with follow-up questions and glossaries.

  • Grammar Worksheets: Custom worksheets in Roman transliteration to practice specific grammar points.

  • Script Introduction: “Let’s Study Urdu: An Introduction to the Script” by Ali S. Asani and Syed Akbar Hyder. This book gradually introduces students to the script by introducing a small number of letters at a time, followed by reading and writing practice with real words.

  • Course Book: “Let’s Study Urdu: An Introductory Course” by Ali S. Asani and Syed Akbar Hyder. A comprehensive course book for learning Urdu in its native script.

  • Stories and Poems: “Urdu for Children: Stories and Poems” (edited by Sajida S. Alvi). A two-volume set that helps students increase their vocabulary and reading fluency, accompanied by audio and detailed glossaries for each story.

  • Digital flashcards (hosted on Brainscape) so that you can test yourself on vocabulary and various grammar points.
